POSITION: ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER

SALARY: $68,744/Year

HOURS: FULL TIME

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Create detailed architectural drawings and 3D renderings that depict the layout, dimensions, and specifications of various home components using computer-aided design (CAD) software, Sketchup, or traditional drafting techniques; Work closely with architects and designers to interpret their conceptual designs and translate them into detailed technical drawings

• Based on a solid understanding of building codes and regulations, incorporate necessary structural and safety requirements into the drawings; Responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of the drawings to avoid errors and discrepancies during the construction phase.

 

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering or related. Foreign equivalent degree accepted; 2 years of experience as an Architectural Designer or related. Experience using AutoCAD, Sketchup to create Custom Designs and knowledge of Architecture, Residential Design, and Design Documentation required.
